Our mission
At Stathmos, we are committed to tackling two of humanity’s greatest challenges: water scarcity and climate change. By harnessing the power of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, we extract CO₂ and water directly from the atmosphere, offering scalable solutions for a more sustainable future.
Our approach centers on sustainability and innovation, using advanced Statbox technology to transform atmospheric resources into practical applications. With a focus on minimizing environmental impact, we aim to provide industries and communities with tools to thrive in a world increasingly shaped by environmental challenges. Guided by the principle of “simply using air to solve humanity’s greatest challenges,” we are creating a cleaner, healthier planet for generations to come.
Our impact
Stathmos is redefining how atmospheric resources can be harnessed to address global challenges. Our Statbox systems are designed to capture CO₂ and extract water from the air, providing essential resources to industries and regions facing water scarcity and high carbon footprints. Each system captures up to 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, enabling a significant reduction in atmospheric greenhouse gases while contributing to clean water production.
By focusing on localized deployment, Statbox units eliminate the need for complex transportation networks, reducing associated emissions. Captured CO₂ can be permanently stored in geological formations or repurposed for industrial processes, while extracted water supports communities and industries in regions where access to clean water is limited. This dual functionality ensures that climate action and resource management go hand in hand, fostering a future where sustainability is achievable for all.
Our objectives
Stathmos is driven by ambitious goals to create tangible solutions for climate action and resource sustainability. By 2030, we aim to deploy enough Statbox units to capture and store 2.5 million tonnes of CO₂ annually while also addressing water scarcity through localized water production systems.
Our vision for 2045 includes scaling operations to achieve a capture capacity of over 500 million tonnes of CO₂ annually, making Stathmos a global leader in carbon removal and water sustainability solutions. Through continuous innovation and strategic partnerships with governments and industries, we are committed to advancing technologies that respond to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.
By prioritizing efficiency, scalability, and sustainability, Stathmos is leading the way toward a future where air becomes the key to solving humanity’s most critical needs.
